She’s known for flashing her surgically-enhanced chest in the most daring of outfits.But The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Sims shunned her usual risqué style for a stylish ensemble last night.

The 30-year-old donned a high-necked white crop top, flashing just a hint of her midriff, and paired it with a high-waisted black skirt that didn’t finish to short.The mother-of-one added a pair of peep-toe black sparkly boots to complete the look at the Remote Control Preview event in London.

Her black locks were curled slightly and fell loosely down her back.

But Chloe’s make-up still looked a little caked-on as usual, with thick black eyeliner, fake eyelashes and flawless foundation.She later covered up in a black leather jacket as she stepped out into the cold.Chloe admitted in February that she would support her daughter if she ever wanted go under the knife.She has admitted to a boob job and Botox and is aware that her daughter Madison, six, loves to imitate her. But she insisted she’d only let her have plastic surgery when she’s older and if she was being bullied over her features.

She admits she refused to wear a swimsuit for years, due to being ‘petrified’ of people seeing her cellulite.But judging by Lauren Conrad’s stunning new photoshoot in U.S. Glamour magazine, she has nothing to worry about. The star shows off her perfectly toned legs and derrière in a pretty bathing suit, and even poses topless on the cover of the glossy publication.

The tasteful cover sees the former Hills star protect her modesty by leaning forward on the ledge of a lake, wearing merely a pair of floral white bikini bottoms. In another shot, the star the star poses in a mint green floral strapless swimsuit, wearing subtle make-up and showing off a a pair of pins with no sign of the dreaded tell-tale orange peel.

‘On the vacation to Cabo, I wore a bathing suit on the beach for the first time in years,’ she recalls to the magazine. Usually I’m just petrified.’A couple of years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it was so mean. I took it really personally. I haven’t worn a bathing suit in L.A. in years because of that.’

She adds: ‘I haven’t met a woman without insecurities. You just have to learn to play up the positives.’The star also models clothes from her own clothing line Paper Crown, looking stunning in a candy pink mini dress, teamed with a wide brimmed hat.And despite Lauren’s diminutive frame, she says she keeps curvy women in mind when it comes to designing clothes.

‘There are certain things where, if you’re curvy, you can’t wear them,’ she says. ‘A lot of times I tend to design for girls with no boobs because I have no boobs, but then you go a sell it and that’s one of the biggest comments: ” I have really big boobs, what do I wear?The star also spills some secrets about her love life – she’s recently been linked to actor Stephen Dorff and Teen Wolf actor Colton Haynes. ‘I wish I dated as much as people though I did!’ she tells the magazine.’It’s really funny because everyone that I am reportedly “dating” is a friend of mine.

‘About half my friends are guys, and I’ve always gotten along really well with guys. You just have to laugh at it.’It’s a few years since Lauren appeared in The Hills and Laguna Beach, so the star clearly feels she can spill a few secrets from her years on reality shows.

‘During shooting, the producers would send us quick text messages telling us what to talk about,’ she recalls.

‘They couldn’t walk through the shot, so they’d just text me, like, “Say something quick about this story line.” That’s why we were always checking our phones.’However, she doesn’t keep in touch with many of her former co-stars. ‘The show is what brought a lot of us together, and when it was gone, we didn’t have anything in common anymore,’ she says.

The television presenter, 33, who is also starring on the show, is paired with Derek Hough.

Katherine is fast proving to be a popular contender of season fourteen, with former DWTS contestant Kirstie Alley tweeting her support last night: ‘@KathJenkins YOU ARE A PHENOMENON !!!!!!!!’ What an extraordinary human being you are!!!! I adore watching your spirit shine…it’s blinding.’

And the dancing hopeful was joined by her No1 fan, with Katherine revealing: ‘With my mum after tonight’s show… So good to have her here in America!’

The shrinking star said she likes to be healthy and the recent weight loss has given her confidence a boost when it comes to wearing risqué dresses – but she is determined not to lose her curves.

Katherine said: ‘I’m burning so much energy now that it’s hard to put the weight back on. But I like to be curvy so I’m trying not to lose any more.

‘But I do want to be healthy, too – there are so many skimpy costumes to wear. That scares me!’

There wasn’t a dry eye left in the ballroom on tonight’s Dancing With Stars, with Katherine Jenkins breaking down in floods of tears after dancing a tribute to her late father Selwyn.

The Welsh singer achieved a near perfect score of 29 out of 30 for her waltz with partner Mark Ballas during an emotional Most Memorable Year week.

Looking stunning in a lilac dress, the star had selected her memorable year as 1996, when her father died of lung cancer at the age of 70.

While many dancing professionals and audience members dabbed away tears, the visibly moved judge Carrie Ann Inaba choked back the tears before telling Katherine: ‘It’s like your father’s arms were around you.’

Judge Len Goodman added: ‘The bottom line… You are a wonderful dancer,’ while Bruno called her performance ’sensational.’

Earlier, the audience had watched a video montage where Katherine described the tragic events of 1996 when her father passed away.

‘In 1996, we found out my father had lung cancer,’ Katherine told viewers. ‘I got pulled out of class by my auntie who said “Your dad’s gone into a coma and gone into a hospice.

‘It happened so quickly,’ she recalled. ‘The following day, he passed away  and I’m just glad I got the chance to say goodbye.

‘If I could go back and tell my dad I would be in America and dancing on TV for him, he just wouldn’t believe it. That’s what’s just so overwhelming. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my dad. Dad, this waltz is for you.’

Following her performance, she hugged her mother in the audience and told co-host Brooke Burke Charvet: ‘For all of us, it’s been a tough week emotionally. I’m just so pleased to celebrate my dad’s life.’

The star also topped the leader board in an evening filled with raw emotion.

The View host Sherri Shepherd danced a tribute to her son Jeffrey, who was born 15 weeks premature back in 2005, when she was told he would suffer from cerebral palsy and paralysis.

‘He delivered at a pound, ten ounces,’ she recalled during rehearsals with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

‘He does not have cerebral palsy;  he is not paralysed and I am so thankful. I want to show Jeffrey through this rumba how much I love him.’

Despite dancing in a more sombre style in a departure from her more bubbly show, the judges were appreciative of her emotional interpretation, awarding her 24 points out of 30. Len said: ‘I appreciated the emotion you put into that dance. I thought you did a great job.’Bruno added: ‘Mama can move. it was very deeply felt, very well expressed.’

Actor and musician Jack Wagner selected 2011 as his magic year, recalling how he met long lost daughter Kerry for the first time.

‘I’ve been blessed,’ he said, saying that he wanted he and partner Anna Trebunksaya’s samba to be: ‘A tribute to Kerry. I want to see it as a celebration carnival.’They performed the dance to one of his own songs, scoring three eights, with his rhythm impressing Len.

‘I saw a totally different side to you,’ the head judge told him.  ‘I liked the rhythm that you showed, especially in the hips. For me, your best dance.Bruno added: ‘You got the party started. You were in the driving seat Your timing was much better.’Maria Menounos and Gavin DeGraw also paid tributes to their families, with an emotional Maria recalling 1988, when her Greek immigrant parents were struggling to make a living as janitors.

‘My parents worked so hard to keep a roof over our heads and food on our table,’ she told her partner Derek Hough. ‘I’ve definitely come a long way from picking up quarters from nightclubs in Boston.’Their sultry rumba to a pared down version of Madonna’s Material Girl impressed the judges, with Bruno asking her. ‘Is it Maria or Aphrodite? You have something in week three that I’ve never seen.”A mix of the ballroom with a touch of the bedroom,’ added Len.  ‘Overall a fabulous dance.’

Meanwhile, the singer has addressed speculation she may play Whitney Houston in a biopic on the tragic singer.

She told the Daily Telegraph: ‘I didn’t get that call yet.

‘That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That’s a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job.’

Rihanna admits the late star was a huge inspiration to her growing up in Barbados.

According to TMZ the man claims to have a ‘metaphysical’ connection to the actress.

Blake is said to have said in her application for the restraining order that she fears for the safety of herself and her mother.

Sergie is said to have contacted Elaine on several occasions and said he is ‘deeply concerned’ about her.

According to the application: ‘Respondent Milfe’s harassing and stalking behaviour has steadily intensified between February 1 and the present causing Lively and her mother significant distress and anxiety.’

Blake’s wish was granted by a judge and Mifle is not allowed to come within 100 yards of the actress or Elaine Lively.

Beyond her small-screen obligations as Serena van der Woodsen, Blake also has a new big-screen project hitting theaters in early April.

The movie, Hick, also stars Chloe Moretz and My Week With Marilyn’s Eddie Redmayne.

Blake plays a Nebraska teen who gets more than she bargained for when she sets out for the bright lights of Las Vegas.

If you’ve ever written to an agony aunt or spent your holiday fund on a relationship therapist, or even sat for hours with your girlfriends despairing over your love life, help is finally here.

A group of university researchers and experts on relationships have banded together to translate the scientific theories behind human behaviour into layman’s terms.

The Science of Relationships: Answers to Your Questions About Dating, Marriage and Family offers readers the solution to 40 of the most common romantic conundrums like what makes someone hot and others not and why it is that some marry people just like their parents.

The 15 contributors from different academic institutions take turns in uncovering the secrets to familiar relationships mysteries using results from online polls and submissions from students.

Benjamin Le, a social psychologist at Haverford College in Pennsylvania and Jennifer Harman, a psychology professor at Colorado State Univeristy, who co-wrote the new advice book along with other experts in the field, spoke to Canada.com about their findings.

Among other revelations, they discovered what makes people attractive to others frequently comes down to exposure, which is good news for those good at persistence.

Dr Harman expanded by saying: ‘The research would say that if exposure to something is increased, even subliminally, you’ll like it more.

‘With online matchmaking sites, at first you might see profiles that aren’t attractive, but the more you see them, they may not seem so bad.

‘Some sites capitalize on that, where a member can pay more to have their photos featured daily.’

On a more serious note, the psychologists tackled the complexity behind the idea of dating someone that is similar to a parent and cited the frequent study of the type of attachments a parent makes to their child as a determining factor in the outcome of their romantic preferences.

Dr Le explained: ‘If the parent was not consistently nurturing or there for the child, the child will have expectations that their partner can’t be relied upon.

‘Studies show people will choose dissatisfaction if it’s consistent with their expectations, versus things that make them change the way they see the world.’

Dr Harman added: ‘It may or may not be a healthy dynamic, but it feels comfortable. If people don’t have a lot of self-worth because of early parenting, they enter relationships where that person confirms how they already feel about themselves.’

But they both pointed out that while often a pairing in which one person is ‘avoidant’ and the other is ‘anxious’ is unsatisfying, it can also be ‘tremendously stable’ and less likely to end in divorce.

‘Those relationships lasted just as long as people who were secure and healthy,’ Dr Le explained. ‘So it depends on how you measure relationship success. Did they stay together, or are they happy?’

Asked whether married couples really do lose the spark after marriage, the doctors both confirmed that they do, but went on to explain that the decline in satisfaction levels are as much to do with the change in life’s demands as the chemistry between the couple themselves.

For this they recommend revitalising the relationship with fresh experiences. ‘Dissatisfaction occurs because you know that person and there’s no novelty. Relationships become boring,’ Dr Le said.

‘New activities can buffer couples from having a decline. If you like to watch movies, that’s not enough, because it’s passive. But if you like to hike, those sorts of activities that are more physical tend to jump-start satisfaction.’

Most also showed that Kadima headed by Livni would fare at least slightly better in next year’s general elections than it would with Mofaz at the helm. And just last month Newsweek and The Daily Beast counted Livni as one of the 150 Women Who Shake the World and called her one of the most powerful women in the country.

Yet on March 27, in a low turnout of 40 percent of Kadima’s 95,000 members, Mofaz trounced Livni, taking 61.7 percent of votes. Now Livni’s political future is unclear.

This week, Livni told a reporter camped outside her Tel Aviv home that “I am on vacation, sweetheart.” And she was conspicuously absent from Kadima’s first faction meeting since the leadership primary.

Livni’s rapid climb to power — comparable to the political careers of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak — was remarkable. Just two years after leaving her commercial law practice to become a Knesset member in the Likud Party, Livni was given a ministerial portfolio. By 2006 as foreign minister, she was second in command of Kadima, Israel’s ruling party, and in the 2009 general election — just a decade after entering politics — Livni led Kadima to garner 28 Knesset seats, one seat more than the second-largest party, Netanyahu’s Likud.

Livni, who admitted in an interview with Yediot Achronot to being a Mossad agent in Paris in the early 1980s, grew up in an ardently right-wing household. Her father and mother were members of the prestate Irgun, a paramilitary organization affiliated with Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s Revisionist Zionist movement that was the ideological precursor to today’s Likud.

With some other leading members of Likud, she came to believe that Israel had to cede control over areas populated by Palestinians in order to remain a Jewish state. Livni joined Prime Minister Ariel Sharon when he left the Likud to form Kadima in November 2005 in the wake of his Gaza disengagement.

She advanced within the party’s leadership as a result of a series of upheavals that included Sharon’s paralyzing stroke in January 2005, just months before the March 2006 general elections, and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s July 2008 announcement that he would resign in the wake of corruption allegations.

“Under the immediate circumstances, Livni’s was an alarming anointment, effectively implemented by a well-known advertising and PR firm that had more to do with appearances than with substance,” said Amotz Asa-El, a Hartman Institute fellow and a former executive editor of The Jerusalem Post.

“They played up her Mrs. Clean image, emphasized her femininity, changed her hairdo and dressed her in elegant business suits. But she was a shallow politician who could not seriously debate anything,” he said. “She was no match for Bibi.”

The beginning of Livni’s downfall was her inability after the 2009 general elections to form a coalition, despite winning a plurality of the votes. A bloc of several religious and right-wing parties made it much easier for Netanyahu to form a coalition.

Meanwhile, left-wing parties Labor and Meretz, which had lost votes to Kadima, declined to support Livni because they were concerned she would form a coalition with Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu. Negotiations for a rotation government that included Likud and Kadima fell through in part due to Livni’s opposition to the idea. Ironically, if the deal had been finalized, Livni would have started her stint as prime minister this week. Instead, Kadima remained in the opposition.

Kadima, a party originally built around the dominating persona of Sharon and political pragmatism, lacked both a clear agenda and an ideological tradition, which made it particularly ill equipped to weather a long period of exile from the governing coalition.

“Many in the party simply refused to reconcile themselves to remaining in the opposition,” said Nachman Shai, a Kadima Knesset member and Livni supporter. “They wanted someone who they thought would give them more of a chance to return to the coalition.”

“Shaul had worked hard on that plan, going into great details on all the key issues from borders and security arrangement to Jerusalem and meeting with [Palestinian Authority Prime Minister] Salam Fayyad,” said Ronit Tirosh, a Kadima Knesset member aligned with Mofaz.

“Shaul does not know how to work without people, she does not know how to work with them,” Tirosh said, regarding Livni. “She has a deficit in emotional intelligence.”

Before the primaries, fewer than half of Kadima’s Knesset members were openly aligned with Livni.

Tirosh and others within Kadima also attacked Livni for failing to capitalize on last summer’s socioeconomic protests against the high cost of living.

For Asa-El this was proof of Livni’s inability to formulate a coherent domestic policy.

“You can criticize Bibi for his ideas about economics, but he presented a program with a clear worldview,” he said. “Livni utterly failed to join the protests, let alone lead them or even articulate any sort of domestic policy.”

However, Moshe Debby, the head of a public relations firm that advised Livni on strategy, insists that Livni remained more popular than Mofaz until the end, as evidenced by the polls. Rather it was Mofaz’s behind-the-scenes deal-making among Kadima members that clinched him the leadership vote.

“Tzipi was a woman of ideology and values who was concerned primarily with the betterment of the nation,” Debby said. “She did not go to bar mitzvahs and weddings, she did not call people on their birthdays, she did not engage in the internal politics of back scratching. And that’s why she lost.”

While Passover is the time to clean out chametz, single Jews apparently will be cleaning out their social lives.

Jewish singles will use the holiday as an excuse to clean out their cell phone and Facebook contacts, a poll conducted by the Jewish dating site Jewcier found.

In a poll of more than 1,120 Jewish singles, 68 percent of women and 65 percent of men said that cleaning out their cell phone and Facebook contact list was the most important thing to do before Passover.

“When it comes to Passover priorities, Jewish singles have traded the traditional priorities with modern, non-traditional ones,” said Shira Kallus, relationship adviser for Jewcier.

According to the poll, single men prioritize cleaning out their cell phone contacts, while single women prioritize cleaning out their Facebook friends list. Both said that ex-boyfriends and girlfriends should be the first to go.

After a very poor start to the year, Polona Hercog seems to be coming around a bit, but these points aren’t going to help her much. We show her at #37 in safe points, and she will need at least a semifinal to go higher.

Paula Ormaechea doesn’t seem to be much of a threat on other surfaces, but she is pretty solid on clay. She costs Chanelle Scheepers her Top Forty ranking.

Jarmila Gajdosova just fell out of the Top Fifty; she would not have been seeded based on her current rankings. And this loss very likely means that she won’t be making it back.

The outcome here was pretty close to inevitable, given how well Galina Voskoboeva has been playing and how poorly Jelena Dokic was doing, but it’s still pretty bad news for Dokic. She isn’t playing enough to be getting hurt! The win clinches Galina Voskoboeva’s Top Fifty ranking; she may hit a career high.

An important win for Elena Vesnina — but, as last year’s finalist, she needs a lot more than this. Even with the victory, she is only about #78 in safe points.

Pacific’s No. 1 singles player finally picked up an honor a long time in coming Tuesday at Cathlene Goya (Sr., Kaneohe, Hawaii) was selected as the Northwest Conference Women’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week.

Goya was recognized for her 2-0 record at No. 1 singles and her two victories at No. 1 doubles in matches against Whittier on Monday and at Willamette on Saturday.  The victories have placed Goya near the top of the conference statistics in both singles and doubles.

“Cat has been the hardest worker on the court as she tries to finish off her senior year at Pacific as strong as possible,” said Pacific Head Coach Sarah Ansboury.  “She’s leading her team to have the best possible performance to help everyone on the team.”

Goya finished off a great individual performance on the Boxers’ four-match Florida trip with two victories in Monday’s match against Whittier.  She defeated Liliana Serlyo in the No. 1 flight in straight sets, 6-0, 6-4.  Pairing with Rachel Mizuno (Jr., Mililani, Hawaii) at No. 1 doubles, the pair dispatched Serlyo and Chloe Dredge by an 8-5 score.

On the Florida trip, Goya finished with a 3-1 record in both singles and doubles to lead the Boxers.  Her only losses came in a pair of close matches against Northwestern Ohio on Mar. 24.

Goya returned to NWC play with two wins against Willamette on Saturday.  She survived a third set tiebreaker in singles to knock off Shannon Palmer, 6-2, 2-6, 7-6 (7-2).  She also earned a win with regular doubles partner Megan Yoshimoto (Sr., Mililani, Hawaii), earning an 8-6 decision against Willamette’s Palmer and Sabrina Gutierrez.

A 2008 graduate of St. Andrew’s Priory in Honolulu, Goya has put together her best season at Pacific in her senior campaign.  She enters the week with an 11-4 record at No. 1 singles, tops among No. 1 singles players in the league and second among all conference women’s tennis players.  Goya has also amassed a 10-5 record in No. 1 doubles, winning seven of those matches with longtime partner Yoshimoto.

Pacific enters the week on the outside looking in for a NWC Tournament berth, currently sitting in fifth place in the league standings with a 5-5 record and a 6-9 overall mark.  The Boxers return to action on Saturday when they travel to Puget Sound.

NBC announced that their new dating series, Love In The Wild will return for a second season next year. Paul Telegdy, President, of Alternative and Late Night Programming at NBC made the announcement earlier.

“The success of the relationships formed on the first season of this series is a testament to the unique format of this show,” said Telegdy. “We look forward to an even more compelling season as the series will return with new format twists and a new set of contestants who will conquer the wild — or not — to find love.”

Modern technology, reports free online New Dating site YanikaDate.com, has changed the rules of the question that has bedeviled so many men and women, and ended so many relationships before they even had a chance:  how soon do you follow up?

The invasion of cell phones, email and more into relationships has apparently cut the traditional “three-day rule” of how long one should wait in half.

The site’s new LoveGeist survey found that after a first date on a Saturday evening, most daters will get in touch by 11:48am on Monday with a call or text, thus 1.52 days is now the average time spent waiting for a follow up message.

“The three-day rule might have worked when all we had were landlines, but technology has revolutionized how we date,” New Dating YanikaDate.com relationship expert Adam told the free site.  “When everybody takes their mobile phone everywhere, waiting three days to get in touch just makes you look snooty or, worse, like you have run out of credit.”

Technology may have changed the need to wait by the phone for days on end for a call, but the image of the girl as the one waiting by the phone has not.

The survey found 22 percent of women wait to be contacted first after a date, while just 5 percent of men waited for a call after meeting someone.

The men who do follow up better act fast, or risk losing out.  A woman’s impatience is another factor that even cell phones, iPads and email has not changed.

In the New Dating survey,  28 percent of women said they would sever contact if they didn’t hear from their romantic interest the first time around.

Taylor’s advice, for all genders then?  Keep it simple.

“If you like someone and want another date the best thing to do is send a brief, charming text asking if they’d like to meet up again, or call them,” she said.  “Keep it short and very sweet.”

Taylor Armstrong of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is reportedly still grieving the death of her estranged husband Russell Armstrong. A new report has Taylor dating a fellow Bravo reality star. Does that mean the grieving is over?

According to a report from Radar Online, Taylor is dating Most Eligible Dallas star Matt Nordgren. And while the two say their relationship is merely a friendship, others say they are starting to take their ‘friendship’ public.

The two reportedly attended the Cattle Baron’s Ball in Dallas recently, where it was more than clear that Taylor was Matt Nordgren’s date–not just his friend. The two were quite affectionate toward one another–both on and off the dance floor.

A source says the two have lots in common and that Taylor is truly enjoying being in the company of a man who isn’t abusive–as her marriage with the late Russell Armstrong was said to be wrought with violence.

The fact that Matt Nordgren is from Dallas “is very appealing to her. Matt is a Southern gentleman, and has impeccable manners. Taylor isn’t used to being treated so well by a man, it’s truly amazing that she has been able to find someone that she can trust, and that she isn’t afraid of,” the source explains.

The source continues, explaining that Taylor is slowly but surely letting those closest to her know that she is in love with the Most Eligible Dallas star.

Taylor Armstrong, however, “is taking things slow. She is going back and forth between Los Angeles and Dallas for now. Taylor is just enjoying dating, and won’t be settling down anytime soon. She is extremely happy with Matt. Taylor is telling her close friends that she is in love with Matt. Matt is extremely patient and tender with Taylor and supports her and never second guesses his intentions. She is safe with him, something she hasn’t felt in a very long time,” the source says.

So what do you think of all this? Russell and Taylor Armstrong were separated when Russell committed suicide, so it’s not like she has stopped grieving the death of a man she was in love with. Certainly she grieves Russell’s death. Just because they were splitting up in no way means she wanted him dead. Plus Russell was the father of Taylor’s little girl Kennedy, who will now grow up without her dad.

If Taylor Armstrong has found happiness–good for her. Hopefully Matt Nordgren can help provide her with both some love and some comfort.
